  Dear all,

  The ccNSO is launching its Buddy program for the 2nd time to support
ccNSO newcomers as they attend ICANN84 sessions, and begin participating
in our work. We're reaching out to invite experienced, enthusiastic, and
approachable volunteers to become buddies for newcomers.

  Why This Matters?

  Becoming involved in a new group can be intimidating. With your help,
we can:

  	* Ease the transition for newcomers
	* Reduce uncertainty around participation
	* Build community and belonging
	* Encourage early, confident engagement in ccNSO work

  Who Makes a Great Buddy?

  We're looking for volunteers who are:

  	* Positive, welcoming, and approachable
	* Familiar with how the ccNSO operates day to day
	* Aware of the challenges newcomers face
	* Willing to dedicate some time to support and guide others
	* Attending ICANN84 in person

  Role and Time Commitment

  	* Support the newcomer(s) assigned to you during ICANN84, with the
help of the OMC pre-ICANN84 meeting package  [1]
	* Stay in touch with the newcomer(s) assigned to you throughout the
week, and answer their questions.
	* Join our relaxed ccNSO newcomer welcome session in Dublin. This
session is intended to give ccNSO newcomers and long-standing members an
opportunity to connect, share experiences, and build community together.

learn more.
