Call for newcomers



*Help Support Newcomers at the ccNSO Meeting in Prague*

As you may have noted, the ccNSO has launched a *mentoring program* to
support newcomers and help them navigate ccNSO meetings more easily. A key
part of this initiative is pairing newcomers with experienced community
members—our *"ccNSO buddies"*—who can help lower the threshold for
participation and enhance engagement during meetings.


As a follow-up to our recent call for ccNSO buddies, we are now reaching
out to you to ask for your support in identifying newcomers from your
organization who will be attending the* ICANN 84 meeting in Dublin*:

   - *For the First-time or second-time attendees*, or
   - Individuals returning to ccNSO meetings after an extended absence


If someone from your organization meets this description, we kindly ask you
to:

   1. *Attend the Newcomers webinar

   2025| noon UTC*
   2. *Inform them about the newcomer assistance program*, and
   3. *Encourage them to contact us* directly at *Claudia.Ruiz at icann.org

   – or let us know on their behalf.



Our goal is to match newcomers with ccNSO buddies *before
the Dublin meeting* to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from day
one.
