Dear Barrack Otieno,

Thank you for submitting workshop proposal #WS5 Internet Development in
Africa, thinking locally acting globally, to be considered for the 11th
Africa Internet Governance Forum Meeting, hosted by the Government of
Malawi in Lilongwe from 19 to 21 July 2022.

The Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) has reviewed all submitted
workshop proposals. Following this review, we are pleased to inform you
that your proposal was accepted for the AfIGF 2022 meeting. All approved
submissions

We kindly ask you to review the 2022 AfIGF schedule, available at the
AfIGF website https://afigf.africa/2022program/ [2], and let us know if
there is any issue

	* Any thematic overlap of your workshop with other sessions hosted in
parallel.
	*  If any of your speakers is prevented to speak during the allocated
hour. We will try to coordinate among other session organizers to have
your session reallocated to a more convenient time slot.
	* If the indicated room capacity in the schedule does not fit your
needs. Please note that more information about the room setup will be
made available in the coming days.

To enable us to share with the community kindle share with us more
information about the session which includes the session information and
the list of speakers, their bios and Photos by 15th June 2022.

Also, please note that the registration for the AfIGF 2022 is open. The
Africa IGF for this year will be hosted in a hybrid format.

A guide on its implementation will be produced. The process will feature
an interactive preparatory phase.
