Dear ccTLD Managers,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the third edition of the
ccNSO DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) survey. Conducted in August -
September 2026, this survey follows up on previous editions from 2022
and 2024.
The survey targets ccTLD managers worldwide, regardless of ccNSO
membership. Your participation will help us build a comprehensive
understanding of the current state of DNS abuse mitigation by and for
ccTLDs, and guide future work items by DASC in helping ccTLDs to address
DNS abuse related challenges.

We want to assure you that all responses collected are confidential.
Your responses will be anonymized and aggregated with those of other
participants to analyze trends and patterns. Any identifying information
provided will be kept separate from the survey responses and will not be
shared with any third parties. Preliminary results will be presented at
ICANN87, followed by a post-ICANN87 webinar providing further details.
We understand that your time is precious, and we greatly appreciate your
willingness to contribute to this important initiative. Your input will
help us to better serve the ccTLD community and ensure that our efforts
align with your needs and expectations.
Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do
not hesitate to contact the ccNSO Secretariat at

BACKGROUND
ABOUT DASC | The ccNSO DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) is intended
to maintain a dedicated forum for ccTLD Managers to discuss the
important topic of DNS Abuse. The overarching purpose is to raise
understanding and awareness of the issues pertaining to DNS Abuse,
promote open and constructive dialogue, and ultimately to assist ccTLD
Managers in their efforts to mitigate the impact of DNS Abuse.
DASC SURVEY | DASC launched its first DNS abuse survey in 2022 to better
understand how ccTLDs address DNS abuse. A second survey followed in
2024, helping DASC identify developments and trends in mitigation
practices across the ccTLD community.
The 2026 survey is the third edition and will continue tracking these
developments while helping identify areas where further collaboration
and support may benefit ccTLD managers.
