Dear NRI Coordinators and Colleagues,

Greetings from the African Internet Governance Community.

We are pleased to invite National, Regional, and Youth Internet Governance
Initiatives (NRIs) across Africa to participate in the upcoming *Africa
Internet Governance Community Engagement Session*, scheduled for *Wednesday,
19 August 2026*.

The session will provide an opportunity for the African Internet Governance
community to come together, exchange updates, discuss key continental and
global digital policy developments, and strengthen coordination and
collaboration ahead of the *Africa IGF 2026 in Accra, Ghana*, and the *UN
Internet Governance Forum 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya*.

This engagement is intended to strengthen information sharing among African
NRIs and the wider Internet governance community, identify common
priorities, and provide space for stakeholders to share ideas on how we can
collectively strengthen Internet governance processes across Africa.
