Dear Rodriguez,
Many thanks for your email and for creating time for the productive call
as well. I briefed the AFTLD Executive Commitee of the deliberations we
had and they are in agreement that we should move forwad in Principle.
Further , the Executive Commitee has designated Joel Karubiu the AFTLD
Treasurer to be the focal point in the engagement between AFTLD and
Smart Africa. For avoidance of doubt we agreed to focus on two events
for the remainder of 2026 which are low hanging fruits:
1. The Africa IGF in Accra Ghana where Smart Africa will be launching
CAIGA
2. ICANN 87 in Bali Indonesia
Please advise whether we can have our next meeting on Monday so that we
can discuss the activities we will have in this meetings.
