Subject: ICANN support to AFTLD for the Africa DNS Forum

Dear AFTLD Chair,

On behalf of the VP, I would like to inform you that ICANN will provide $20,000.00 to AFTLD through a sponsorship agreement. This will enable your organization to support travel, accommodation, visa and stipends to few ccTLDs attending the Africa DNS Forum in Accra on 10 December 2025.  ICANN is expecting these participants to also attend the Africa Engagement on 09 December 2025.  The venue of the Africa Engagement will tentatively be the Movenpick Hotel in Accra (please do not share at this stage). You might consider this in selecting hotels to host the sponsored participants.  ICANN would appreciate if you can share names of peoples you plan to support with this contribution.

The formal sponsorship agreement process will start soon.

Other: As an action item from the last Africa DNS Forum partners call - could we have the draft agenda which ICANN could use to announce the Africa DNS Forum as part of scheduled events in Accra?
