[Excom] Response to AFNIC on the Africa Domain Name System Forum

Dear EXCOM,

Following the meeting with ICANN and in consultation with the Chair, we 
would like to propose the following response to AFNIC:

Dear Sir,

We write with respect to our previous exchange in which you sought to 
know when we intend to utilize the funds disbursed for the Africa Domain 
Name System Forum. The Africa Domain Name System Forum partners met on 
29th January 2025. During the meeting it was agreed that the Africa 
Domain Name System Forum will be held as from 8th to 12th December 2025 
in Accra Ghana. The meeting will be collocated with the Africa 
Engagement Forum. This is to facilitate better mobilization of resources 
and engagement of Community members. In light of the discussion we had 
please confirm if this is ok with the AFNIC Financial Calendar or if we 
will need to refund the money and request for it closer to the event.
