ABOUT DASC

Established in 2022, the ccNSO DNS & Domain Name Abuse Standing
Committee (DASC) helps ccTLDs share practical approaches to combating
domain name abuse. While the DASC does not develop policy, it focuses on
raising awareness, exchanging mitigation strategies, and exploring tools
and models for collaboration.

At past ICANN Public Meetings, the DASC has discussed abuse tracking
tools, gTLD contract amendments, data accuracy and verification, fraud
and online scams. DASC conducted ccTLD Abuse Surveys in 2022 and 2024.

DASC DNS Abuse Resources:

  ● DNS Abuse Library [5]
A searchable, community-driven collection of tools, reports, and
articles related to DNS abuse. You’re encouraged to browse the library
and submit helpful resources.

  ● DNS Abuse Discussion List [6]
Open to all ccTLD-affiliated individuals, this email list provides
regular updates on:

  ○ New library content

  ○ Upcoming events

  ○ Relevant discussions across the ccTLD community
