Dear All,

The ccNSO welcomes additional volunteers for the ccNSO Internet
Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC). The call for volunteers will close
Friday, 26 January 2024 (23:59 UTC).

Potential IGLC members and those want to learn more about the work of
the IGLC are kindly invited to a 1-hour webinar, hosted by ccNSO IGLC
chair Annaliese Williams (.au). The webinar will be held on Wednesday,
24 January 2024 at 08:00 UTC. You will be informed on how to join the
Committee, the required skill set, the topics that will be addressed by
this group, and its working methods.

Who can become an IGLC member?

Membership of the Committee is open to all ccTLD managers (whether
members of the ccNSO or not) The membership will be listed on
https://ccnso.icann.org/en/workinggroups/iglc.htm

Term of service

There is no term end, however each year the members of the Committee
will be asked whether they want to continue to serve thereon. The group
encourages participation from all geographic regions and by volunteering
you commit to participate in and contribute to the meetings and to the
work in between those meetings.

Working methods

The committee meets on a monthly basis through Zoom and might decide to
hold a working session during the ICANN public meetings. Also, the IGLC
occasionally organizes session on internet governance topics, with
relevance to ccTLD managers. Recent examples include the ICANN78 session
on WSIS+20. The working language of the committee is English.

If you are interested in applying for membership of the ccNSO MPC,
kindly send an e-mail to joke.braeken at icann.org. The call for volunteers
will close on Friday, 26 January 2024 (23:59 UTC).

Next Steps

Once we have received your intent to apply for this position, the ccNSO
Secretariat will send you a link to an online Public Data Consent Form.
Via this form, you consent to ICANN processing data in order to appoint
you as member and to subscribe you to the relevant mailing list(s). The
form explains the information ICANN will process to administer your
participation and how the information will be used this purpose. It also
describes the rights you have regarding your information. Members shall
be appointed by the ccNSO Council after closure of the call for
volunteers.

the participation of ccTLD managers in discussions and processes
